• मियामी ओपन टेनिस स्पर्धेच्या दुहेरी स्पर्धेचे विजेतेपद भारताची टेनिसपटू सानिया मिर्झा व स्वित्झर्लंडच्या मार्टिन हिंगिस यांनी पटकावले.
• सानिया व मार्टिनाने रशियाच्या एकतेरिना माकारोवा-एलेना व्हेस्नीना यांचा 7-5, 6-1 असा पराभव केला.
